The Newport School District places a high level of emphasis on communication. This emphasis lends itself to an environment where students will receive the best possible educational experience. The District encourages continual communication between parents and staff to support every student. In order to effectively address and facilitate discussion regarding questions or concerns about your child’s education, the District would like issues to be routed through certain channels for communication. In the event that a question or concern should arise, please first contact your student’s teacher. From that point, the respective building administrator may become involved to help facilitate discussion on an issue. If the issue is unresolved at either of these levels, it will be elevated to the Superintendent for review. Should the need arise, the issue may be presented before the School Board for additional consideration. The Newport School District strives for continual growth and a goal to always put students first. Thank you for your support. Ryan Neuhard, Superintendent
