The PA Department of Health (DOH) has updated the metric to now only require two days of closure to reset the COVID-19 case counts per each building.  All building positive case counts reset each Monday because we do not have school the preceding two days. The school district will notify families via our electronic communication system of positive cases per building.  The PA Department of Health still has the requirement of contact tracing investigation and individuals identified as close contacts will be notified by our school districts Nurse or DOH. Close contact is defined by CDC as anyone who was within 6 feet of an infected person for a total of 15 minutes in a 24 hour period. If a person has not been fully vaccinated they are required to quarantine for up to 14 days from their last day of exposure. Our school environment does not allow for abbreviated  quarantine timelines and state mandated mask  wearing and spacing guidelines must be adhered to.
